in other words, deviantart can modify and use all your artwork, their even allowed to profit and relicense it! this is bullshit, only i should be allowed to profit off my art without written permission!
Deviantart DOES allow you to 'retain ownership' but that's pointless if they can do whatever the fuck they want with it. officially, you own your art. in reality, they control it. Take back your rights, get the fuck off deviantart, and take your art with you. There are many great artists here, and they will go nowhere if corperations like deviantart can walk all over them.

Hmm... non-exclusive... which means anybody other than deviantArt could use your art. Including any third party that happens to be walking by.
Royalty Free... which would mean you could never collect any monitary or nonmonitary gains DeviantArt comes up with.
To reproduce, distribute, re-format... which means that while they do not own the art, they can use it anywhere in any format (like take your sketch and turn it into the cover of "the best of emo 2006")
The rest of that sentence says they can do what they please with any derivatives of the image.
Now what is really scary is the next sentence. "Please note that when you upload Content, you allow third parties to copy, distribute and display your Content."
That pretty much reads, "if you use our serves for your images, they come into public domain."
