you may have noticed i removed every piece of art i posted on deviantart. no, i am not simply switching sites, i am pulling out completely. the reason? devianart steals your artwork! it's all in the TOS (which, technically we should have read upon signing up)

c) to modify, adapt, change or otherwise alter the Artist Materials (e.g., change the size) and use the Artist Materials as described in Section 3(b); and

d) the right to sublicense to any other person or company any of the licensed rights in the Artist Materials, or any part of them, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.


in other words, deviantart can modify and use all your artwork, their even allowed to profit and relicense it! this is bullshit, only i should be allowed to profit off my art without written permission!

Deviantart DOES allow you to 'retain ownership' but that's pointless if they can do whatever the fuck they want with it. officially, you own your art. in reality, they control it. Take back your rights, get the fuck off deviantart, and take your art with you. There are many great artists here, and they will go nowhere if corperations like deviantart can walk all over them.

so i pop on to devart this morning, and a page somes up that says 'you were randomly chosen to be subscribed for one week for free! no strings attached!'

halloween was good, i got to scare some kids (sneak out my back door and come up behing them when i see them come up the front walk) and browse devart most of the night. some jerkass kid kicked my cat and i chased him down the street. luckily the kid kicked my cat on the way up the walk so he never got any candy. jerk.
i hate when people try to ruin my halloween, next year i'm filling a super soaker with fake blood.

i'm not a very outgoing person when it comes to my personal life, so my journal will most likely be updates regarding my 'public' life (ie my artwork, website, etc)
